Depending on usage rates, all CR plate imaging systems will benefit for periodic cleaning of the plate transport rollers, to maintain best possible image quality.
To address this need, Carestream have developed a dedicated Roller Cleaning kit that uses a special plate which, when inserted in place of the normal image plates, correctly cleans the internal roller surfaces.
